FG shuts down Lagos bridge for two months

The Federal Government has said that Independence Bridge (Marina bound) will be closed between April 1 and the end of May for essential maintenance and rehabilitation works.
The Federal Controller of Works, Lagos, Mrs Olukorede Kesha, disclosed this in a statement on Monday in Lagos.
She said that the closure will affect traffic from Ahmadu Bello Way and Adeola Odeku towards Marina, Eko Bridge, and Onikan by Zone 2.
Kesha said with the development, motorists should plan their journeys and use and use alternative routes during the period.
The Federal Controller of Works for apologised for the inconvenience that the closure might cause.
