It’s fake’, APC warns against fraudulent ‘Bola Tinubu empowerment programme’

The All Progressives Congress has raised the alarm about a fraudulent scheme circulating among the public, falsely claiming to be a “Bola Tinubu empowerment” programme.
In a press statement released on Tuesday, signed by its National Publicity Secretary, Felix Morka, the APC alerted Nigerians to the scam message.
The message requested banking details from recipients, promising a payment of “N85,000 from Bola Tinubu empowerment” and urged them to call a specific phone number.
The party’s position was contained in a statement tagged, “Scam alert- Beware of fake ‘Bola Tinubu Empowerment’ disbursement message call.”
The statement read, “This is a scam, and we urge members of the public to disregard the message and refrain from calling the posted number or any numbers associated with the message.”
The statement further emphasised the party’s stance, declaring, “We call on relevant security agencies to urgently identify and bring the perpetrators to justice.”
