NDLEA nabs socialite, Emami Ajetsibogho for smuggling 414.2kg Cannabis

Emami Ajetsibogho, widely known as “Warri Kinsman,” has reportedly been arrested by operatives of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) over the alleged smuggling of 414.2 kilograms of cannabis sativa.
According to a report by Sahara Reporters, Ajetsibogho was apprehended on June 25, 2025, by NDLEA officers from the Lagos State Command.
The illegal substance was said to have been packed in multiple bags, each containing sachets sealed in white and black nylon wraps.
Ajetsibogho, a native of Warri South Local Government Area in Delta State, is believed to wield significant influence within his community. He has also reportedly evaded several previous arrest attempts.
According to reports, Emami Ajetsibogho is as the direct younger brother of a prominent Delta State politician.
As of the time of this report, Ajetsibogho remains in NDLEA custody while investigations continue.
Efforts by the newspaper to obtain an official comment from NDLEA spokesperson Femi Babafemi were unsuccessful.
