Presidential Accolades for Adenuga as he Celebrates 72nd Birthday

As Dr. Mike Adenuga Jr. celebrates his 72nd birthday, Presidents John Dramani Mahama of Ghana and Bola Ahmed Tinubu of Nigeria have commended his remarkable achievements, entrepreneurial spirit, and commitment to the development of Africa.
Both leaders acknowledged Dr. Adenuga’s immense contributions to the progress and prosperity of Nigeria and Ghana, as well as his investments in other African countries and Europe.
President Mahama who paid glowing tribute to Dr. Adenuga, described his life “as a shining example of vision, resilience, and extraordinary accomplishment”. He commended his exceptional entrepreneurial spirit and commitment to excellence, which has enabled him to build business conglomerates and drive socio economic growth across Africa.
“Dr. Adenuga’s Leadership and philanthropy continue to inspire generations of Africans”. Said President Mahama.
Also celebrating Dr. Adenuga, President Tinubu praised his ‘s humility and diligence, citing these traits as key factors in his success across multiple industries including banking, telecommunications, oil, and gas. “Through determination and hard work, he built businesses that have created thousands of jobs for our people,” he noted.
He also commended Dr. Adenuga’s innovative approach to business, particularly in the telecommunications sector. “Globacom’s pioneering per-second billing revolutionised the industry, expanding telephony and digital access to millions of Nigerians”, he said.
Additionally, President Tinubu highlighted Conoil’s achievements in the Oil and Gas sector, demonstrating that indigenous firms can compete with international companies and promote energy independence.
The Nigerian President expressed Nigeria’s gratitude for Dr. Adenuga’s significant contributions to the country’s growth and prosperity. He also acknowledged Dr. Adenuga’s bold investments in other African countries and Europe, which have earned him prestigious honours, including the Commander of the Legion of Honour ( France) and Ghana’s Companion of the Star of Ghana.
