Simple steps to apply for 2025 Immigration, NSCDC, Correctional, Fire service jobs

The federal government has announced the recruitment of 30,000 personnel into four key paramilitary agencies nationwide.

In a statement issued on Tuesday, the Civil Defence, Correctional, Fire, and Immigration Services Board (CDCFIB) disclosed that the recruitment exercise will cover the Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS), Nigeria Correctional Service (NCoS), Federal Fire Service (FFS), and the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC).

“The application portal will open on June 26 at recruitment.cdcfib.org,” the board said.

How to Apply

Step 1: Visit the Application Portal
Go to the official recruitment portal: 👉 https://recruitment.cdcfib.org

Step 2: Create an Account

Click on “Start Application”
Provide your valid email address, phone number, and create a secure password.
Confirm your email if prompted.

Step 3: Select a Cadre and Agency

Choose only one agency from the following:
Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC)
Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS)
Nigerian Correctional Service (NCoS)
Federal Fire Service (FFS)
Then select the specific position under any of the following categories:
Category A – Superintendent Cadre
Category B – Inspectorate Cadre
Category C – Assistant Cadre
Note: Multiple applications will lead to automatic disqualification.

Step 4: Fill in Personal and Educational Information

Enter your bio-data, educational qualifications, and employment history (if any).
Upload all required documents (e.g., certificates, passport photograph, birth certificate, and national ID).

Step 5: Review and Submit

Double-check that all details are correct.
Submit the application.

Step 6: Print or Save Acknowledgement Slip

After submission, download or print the application acknowledgement slip for future reference.
Important Notes
The portal opens Thursday, 26th June 2025.
The application window will last for three weeks.
Application is free. Do not pay anyone.
Applicants must be:
Nigerian citizens
Between 18 and 35 years old
In good physical and mental health
Height requirement: At least 1.65m for men, 1.60m for women.
Men must have a minimum chest measurement of 0.87m.
Computer literacy is an added advantage.
Convicted persons or those involved in financial misconduct are not eligible.
