Tinubu Holds Separate Meetings with Enugu Governor, Catholic Archbishop

On Friday, President Bola Tinubu held a meeting at the Presidential Villa in Abuja with Peter Mbah, the governor of Enugu State, and Ignatius Kaigama, the Catholic Archbishop of Abuja Archdiocese.
Reports suggest that the governor’s meeting likely centered around addressing the security situation in Enugu. However, the purpose of the bishop’s visit remains unclear.
During the Enugu State governor’s previous visit to the President, discussions revolved around topics such as the region’s economy, security concerns, and the case of Nnamdi Kanu, the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), and his release from detention.
