Imo State Governor, Hope Uzodimma, and his predecessor, Senator Rochas Okorocha, have put aside their past political differences and come to a reconciliation ahead of the upcoming gubernatorial election in November.
The two leaders, who have been known as political rivals in recent times, were seen together at the Presidential Villa in Abuja, arriving around 6:07 pm. They were accompanied by the National Chairman of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), Abdullahi Ganduje.
The APC in its official Twitter handle wrote: “Vice President Kashim Shettima, our National Chairman Abdullahi Ganduje, Imo State Governor Hope Uzodimma and Senator Rochas Okorocha parley.
“Ahead of the Imo State Governorship election, APC is a united and strong house.”
